Very comfortable home

Very close to Palm Desert so great choice, confortable beds, cotton sheets, very clean, excellent communication with host.

Just a buy dark outside, I couldn’t find the house number at night..

Extremely happy with the hotel. The rooms are very spacious and clean. We only stayed one night for closer access to Joshua tree NP could have stayed a couple of more nights since our kids really enjoy hanging out with each other. We didn't use the pool but I am sure people would enjoy some swimming in summer. Location is also great. We drove into the park's south entrance which is about 35 minutes from the hotel for star gazing at night and visited the park again on the next day. Driveway is spacious and can park 3-4 vehicles easily.

We liked the beds and overall the inside of the house was ok.

First off, there was cactus growing into the edge of the driveway and we couldn’t drive into one side. Those really need to be cut back. Second, our numbers did not work in the door lock. The owner finally called me and she changed the number code. We got inside. The ad was very misleading. It said there was a heated pool and a game room. Once we registered, then we found out the pool is only heated if we wanted to pay an extra $100 per day. The game room had a pool table that was so uneven, we could not play a real game. Also, the balls got stuck inside the table return tracks and we had to reach inside the pockets to get them. None of the other game things were useable. The oven was locked and we had to go to the internet to find out what to do. We unplugged the power and it reset. We said we might arrive before the 4pm check in time and we were told it would cost an extra $75 to do that. We declined. It was cold in the house and we turned the heat on with the thermostat and it never blew warm air after an hour. We ended up using only the space heaters provided. Overall, it was ok for the 2 nights we stayed, but we wouldn’t stay again.
