We had a wonderful stay at the Lodge while visiting Bordeaux for a wedding. The house is very private, comfortable, and set right in the middle of beautiful vineyards. The garden is fantastic, with fresh fruit and vegetables growing on the land, which made the place feel extra special. Natalie was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay in the Bordeaux area!
One thing to be aware of is that the property may not be suitable for everyone in terms of accessibility. It is not well adapted for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility, and we felt that the stairs were quite steep and could feel a little unsafe. This wasn’t a problem for our group, but it’s something worth considering before booking.
