Nimitz Crossing Luxury Residences

My three-night stay here was a great experience - I'm, happy I chose it. I was traveling with my wife and two small dogs. The property is in great location - the village area of the Point Loma neighborhood area of San Diego - close to the airport, Mission Bay, Mission Beach, Ocean Beach and Old Town. The condo was spotless and well maintained. It has a loft feel to it, with exposed columns, hardwood floors and a huge, well equipped kitchen with modern appliances. My unit had a lovely glass enclosed patio, and the glass wall living room provided plenty of light, and shades for nighttime privacy. The king sized bed was both supportive and comfortable. There was also a huge closet with a chest of drawers. You will also find a stacked washer/dryer in the closet. The unit also has its own underground parking spot in a secure garage. Dogs are definitely welcome here - and my dogs felt right at home. If you are booking at a time when there is not a high demand, you will find many places with decent rates - and while this was one of them, you will not find many new places that offer the size, location, comfort, high-end amenities that are dog friendly. This was a find - and I look forward to booking here again.

Not really anything to complain about. You should know that if you are staying anywhere in Point Loma, you will be in close proximity to the takeoff pattern of aircraft from San Diego Airport. I didn't find it horrible - but I was aware of it. This is not an issue specific to Nimitz Crossing - and not their fault. It's just part of living in and visiting Point Loma.

Great location with shops and places to eat within walking distance. Spacious and clean.

The place felt very secure and safe. It was easy to find and close to the airport only a 10 min drive. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay all the appliances was good to have for a week stay.

The first floor which is only offered to vacationers was kinda noisy due to being right by the entry doors. But being close to the parking garage was a plus for bringing in bags from shopping.

This place is new modern beautiful apartment complex. Check in requires lot of self service. Parking is convenient. Apartment has everything you need. Jaime was very helpful and was reachable even though we arrived late at 10pm.

Location is convenient, however its located right under the airplane runway. After the first night i requested to cancel, whereas they said airplane is only between 8am to 10pm. Unfortunately its false. Planes didnt stop until 12am midnight on our first night and started as early as 6am. And it was nearly impossible to have a rest during the day as the plane would take off and land every 15-20mins. If you plan to spend more time in the apartment be prepared to have planes flying over you quite often. We stayed 3 nights and would not recommend anything more than that.
