The Nest Siekel Townhouse

Instructions sent via WhatsApp (on the day) were clear and it was easy to access the property, host was also responsive. This cute one-bedroom spans over 3 levels, the lower kitchen/lounge area with desk has all needed to cook simple meals. Kitchen is reasonably well equipped. The sofa couch appeared to be a sleeper couch too, though we found that it wasn't very comfortable to sit on. The bedroom & bathroom was on the 2nd level, we found the bed a little too soft however it could be a personal preference. It was nice for longer stays to have a small washing machine and also enjoy the lovely sunny terrace (on 3rd level) with nature/sea views and rambling ruins. We didn't have any issues walking from the townhouse into Victoria or the supermarket, however there are a few steeper sections and no real footpaths, as seems to be the norm in Malta.

There was some noise from the neighbours, but it can be expected as it's not a freestanding rural house. Unfortunately petrol smell was present from the garage below townhouse, more so when the vehicle departed or arrived. Bathroom could benefit from a few hooks or small shelf/bench to place clothes or toiletries on, instead of using the floor. Overall this seems to commonly overlooked in holiday accommodation. Overall this would not deter us from staying again, as we enjoyed our stay.

Would have been perfect if it was dog friendly, which it upfront says it is not.
