Perfect size for our group of two families. Fire was on when we arrived and the owner is very good with communication.
The price is steep (although unfortunately that's pretty normal for Hanmer Springs)

The feeling of home and the kids feeding the horses in the morning. Having the games to play with the kids. Being in the farm lands as we live out on the farm area back in Christchurch.
The little milks were curdled/off. That's about it. Everything else was great

Really appreciated the extra carrots in the fridge to feed the beautiful horses with, also loved the clean sheets and dishwasher + tv. Having plates, bowls, utensils, etc were very handy as well.
There were many dead insects (mainly flies) around the bathrooms, sinks, in cups/bowls, and window sills. Also would recommend getting a water filter so tap water can be drinkable. Fortunately my group of friends and I did bring water bottles but once they ran out we had no water to drink.
