Beautiful view from the balcony overlooking the river. It was nice to unwind and enjoy an escape from the busy cities.
Location of the hostel makes it somewhat difficult and expensive to get around without a private scooter rental.

So so peaceful! The accommodation was perfect for spending a few days with a clean bathroom and well equipped kitchen. Mel was very helpful and made us feel comfortable. Possibly the most peaceful accommodation we’ve stayed in for a while. The river was a really nice spot to swim in (careful of the urchins!) and we weren’t really bothered by mosquitos despite being next to the water.
The only things would be without a scooter/car you will need a tricycle to get everywhere and the rooms are hot during from 11am-3pm.
Just a general note is that Panglao is far from most attractions so if you aren’t just wanting to do beach things maybe staying more north for some of your stay would be better
$$$$
