The little apartment next to the main house felt like a home from home and was in a very pretty garden and surrounding area. It was really nice to have a comfortable bedroom and a separate living room with a TV and comfy furniture, plus a small kitchen area. The owners were very welcoming and the breakfast which was provided was delicious.

Whilst there is a kitchen area in the apartment there are no cooking facilities, just a kettle. I understand why they would not want guests cooking too much of their own food in the apartment, nevertheless a small microwave would be a useful addition. We came home early in the afternoon because of a thunderstorm and didn’t really want to have to go out again. When we did go out to Porthgain, both the Sloop and the Fish and Chip restaurant were absolutely full and even the take away fish and chip hatch had stopped serving, because of too many orders. That was before 7.00pm!! Admittedly it was half term, but this situation may well be similar in the summer.

Ubytovanie bolo úplne dokonalé. Je to samostatný malý dvojizbový domček, nádherne vidiecky zariadený čo sa úplne hodí do prostredia. Hostitelia nám napísali milé odkazy a inštrukcie a tiež nám nechali malú pozornosť. Obývačka s kuchyňou bola útulne zariadená a spálňa s kúpeľnou boli priestrané a veľmi pohodlné, so všetkým vybavením. Očarujúce bolo aj okolité prostredie nakoľko ubytovanie sa nachádza na vidieku a skoro na samote obklopené malým hospodárstvom. Hostitelia boli takí láskaví, že nám dovolili sa poprechádzať aj po ich nádhernej udržiavanej záhrade, pozdraviť sa s ich somárikom a pozrieť sa po okolí vrátane ich vlastného lesa. Boli sme unesení. Na raňajky sme si mohli vybrať z viacerých možností, obaja sme mali miešané vajíčka so slaninou, ktoré sa rozplývali na jazyku, lepšie som nikde nemala.
