Exceptional staff - very hospitable. Easy instructions/l to get into the house. Very quiet and private. Good location for outdoor activities. Very close to town so gas and a few restaurants were available.
It was very cold in WVa. The room was warm but got hot during the night; I like a cool room to sleep in. The heat could not be controlled. I opened the window in the rear of the room, however, one of the cabins was using the fireplace, as it was brutally cold so understand its use. The smoke could be smelled in the room.

Beautiful home and great location
We were the only guests in the home, so it was quiet, but I would think it could be pretty close quarters with strangers if others guests would have been there.

Super cute winter inn. Looks like a hallmark movie and is truly special. Excellent coffee machine with organic pod options. Close proximity to Marlinton. Very cosy inside. The facility is well cared for and looked after.
Our ensuite bathroom had an odour that was similar to a dead rat/animal. I think the owner was unaware of this. But it did make the room smell unpleasant. There was also no laundry facilities available for guests which meant we had to go into Marlinton to use the laundromat which isn’t great.
