The Mist Nuwara Eliya - 6 Bedrooms

Our stay at this place in Nuwara Eliya was absolutely amazing! We were fortunate to find it at the last minute, and it exceeded all our expectations. The manor was incredibly spacious, beautifully maintained, and far better than what we had imagined from the photos. The host was exceptionally kind and accommodating. He even traveled all the way from Colombo just to ensure we had a stable WiFi connection for our work—such a thoughtful gesture! The caretaker, however, was the true hero of our stay. When our daughter accidentally got locked in the bathroom, he didn’t hesitate for a second—he jumped in from the back window to rescue her, even injuring himself in the process. Despite that, he never once complained. We are beyond grateful for his kindness and quick thinking. If you’re planning a trip to Nuwara Eliya, this is definitely the place to stay. The peaceful charm of this town, surrounded by rolling tea plantations, misty mountains, and the cool climate, makes it feel like a little slice of paradise. Whether you’re exploring Gregory Lake, strolling through Victoria Park, or visiting a tea estate, Nuwara Eliya is a destination that feels like a dream. Our stay here made it even more special, and we can’t wait to return!

The last few meters of the road is quite narrow, which was a challenge for our mini-bus, but cars can easily access it.
