Provençal farmhouse, Mont Ventoux view, 2 pools (1 heated), Bédoin - 10 people

Priscilla was very accommodating, responsive and helpful, the house was very clean and tidy. The location of the house is very good. I am writing negative comments here as space limited below- INTERNET- It was very difficult to get connected to the internet when we arrived, everything had to be turned on and off a few times there was no instructions provided on using internet. The connection kept dropping, I can appreciate that connection may not be strong in rural areas but a heads up if needed someone needed to connect for work while staying here this would be a problem. Booking.com says wifi is available in all areas of the house however it was not accessible in the 3 downstairs bedrooms TV-Also had issues with the TV it wouldn't turn on initially then it wouldn't connect to the wifi, using Netflix/Prime need wifi, connection kept dropping out, this happened daily. TOWELS/SOAP- People travelling by car can bring extra towels/Soap but if travelling by plane with small bags can't pack loads of towels/Soap. Would be good if some hand towels/Soap and some extra towels could be provided for pool use. A friend was staying in a villa nearby and extra towels and soap were provided in all bathrooms BBQ -Booking.com specified BBQ facilities provided, I would understand this to be a coal or gas BBQ however what was provided was an electric outdoor hot plate. It was stored on a high shelf in the utility room and it was extremely heavy and there was no table provided to put it on we had to use it on the ground. Luckily no one ended up with back injury. I think it should be clearly specified what type of equipment is provided and a table should be provided to use it on. PILLOWS-Everyone in our group found them uncomfortable and ended up with neck pain from them. Just a heads up for Irish/English travellers who are used to rectangular pillows. It would be nice to have alternative pillow options in the wardrobes.

RAT! We could hear a rat in the roof area in outside dining space at the beginning of the week, the rat ran down the walls and across the floor. Could hear it in the roof area over the 3 bedrooms at night, saw it during the day near the pool. This was a concern as exposure to rodent urine can result is Leptospirosis/Weils disease. On the last day my friend was sleeping in the room beside the kitchen and the rat ran out of the cupboard in the corner and up onto the bed and on top of my friend. In the same room later in the day my friend was packing her bags and the rat ran out of the cupboard again and across the floor in front of her. There were lots of holes in the cupboard for a rat to come through and there were droppings also. The rat appeared again later in the cupboard and was sitting on pipes then a few minutes later it had travelled through the walls and appeared in the sitting room. We managed to push it out the door with the brush. We had to stuff the sides of the door in the bedroom with towels to prevent it coming back into the room at night. My friend did not sleep all night and was very scared and could hear the rat in the roof through the night. HOUSE-The access to house from two of the downstairs rooms is either to go outside and back through the front door or through the bedroom beside the kitchen. the rooms would not be suitable for young children as they have to go outside to get into the house and there is a pool right outside these rooms which could be dangerous if a child wanders at night. Even for adults the lighting is poor on the path to the main house when it is dark and also when it is raining you get soaked. There is little privacy for people staying in the room beside the kitchen maybe not so much an issue if with family but if with non family some people especially if entering the house through their room all the time. Wall art in bedroom fell off a wall and caused shoulder injury. There is more but text is limited!!

Zwembad was niet voorverwarmd (ook al werd dit beloofd om enkele dagen op voorhand te doen). Bedden waren zeer hard, oncomfortabel om op te slapen. Extra verwarmingskosten die aangerekend worden. Onvriendelijke en slechte service van Plaisir (bij communicatie zwembad en tekort aan handdoeken. Babymeubelen zagen er vies en oud uit.
