The area is ideal for a varied vacation, with all kinds of activities on the program, from hiking, cycling and golfing to fishing, swimming and enjoying culture. If you like hiking, Store Mosse National Park, the largest contiguous wetland area in southern Sweden, is not far away. Jönköping will delight you with its charming old town, entertainment and restaurants, and you can experience the local market on Västra Torget square every Saturday between 7.30 am and 1 pm. In summer you should try a trip on one of the many excursion boats on Lake Vättern, e.g. the M/S Nya Skärgården. The boats depart from the harbor in Jönköping.
