I liked it very much. I have slept in the bottom room, on the street level so I had a direct access to the kitchen and washing machine and the toilet. I have never met the person living on the upper floor :) The room is not small, 2 people could fit in with a small luggage, but they would have to be close as the shower is IN THE ROOM. But the shower is quite big, even for 2m people. Perfect contact and a very helpful owner. Air co was great, the bed was great. I would live for a month there if I could stay longer.
Too much usless stuff occupying the space. I understand this is a private house but I would suggest packing some stuff to leave some space for the guests. There is also some thick dust in some places. But nevertheless - a great place to stay if one does not need splurge.

Small house close to the main center of Tokyo for amazing price. We had the whole local style house for ourselves. It was amazing experience of living with local conditions. The staff was extra friendly even if they did not speak english.
We got problems with air conditioning, because we did not understand the manual. Anyway - that was just minor and only one issue.
