Radiant Apt in Athens centre

First of all, the host was incredibly responsive. We’d had a problem with another host a few days before visiting Athens, so we were looking for an alternative. And here, everything went smoothly – all the instructions were clear and spot on! The flat is spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is cosy and well-equipped. The bathroom is fine – we wouldn’t ask for more. So overall, we were very satisfied. Getting there by public transport is fairly straightforward; there are plenty of buses stopping at the stop below, and when traffic is flowing smoothly, it takes about 10 minutes to get to the city centre. For a group of friends, this flat is a great choice. Plus you have a few bars/restaurants around, for a 5min walk, so that's also positive, even if the city center is the place to be for any night life and activities.

Although the experience went well overall, there are a few things you should be aware of. Firstly, the flat is on the first floor of a building, above a nightclub. So if you’re a sound sleeper, you’ll be fine, but if you’re a light sleeper, bring some earplugs. I would also say that its location (given the nightclub) is more suited to solo travellers or young people/groups of friends than to families with children. I’d add that it’s perhaps missing a few minor items such as a pair of scissors, and the first-aid kit in the kitchen was empty; it would be useful to top it up, just in case. The communal areas of the building are in need of maintenance, but this doesn’t affect the interior of the flat in any way.

Yorgan kalındı. Atina gibi sıcak bir yerde daha ince yatak örtüsü olmalı. Ekstra yastık yoktu ve mevcut yastıklar inceydi. Rahatsız hissestik. Extra çarşaf ihtiyacımız doğdu, ama maalesef yoktu. Çay demlemek için çaydanlık gerekliydi. Saç kurutma makinesi yoktu, ıslak saç ile bekledik. Netflix açılmıyordu.
