The house offers privacy and a lot of space. I enjoyed the bathtub the most. Its not too far away from the main market area and city center, we got a scooter so the commute got easier. The owners are lovely and very kind. Thankfully, they also stored our luggage while we were away to Mawsynram.
Utilities like hand towels, extra toilet rolls etc. could have been provided. I highly suggest adding a small exhaust fan in the bathroom, as it is starting to get a bit mouldy on the ceiling. Rest assured, I could open the bathroom windows for ventilation anytime.

The homestay’s proximity to the Golf Links gave it a strategic yet serene location. It was far enough from Shillong’s bustling city center to offer peace but close enough for easy access to popular spots like Ward’s Lake, Lady Hydari Park, and Police Bazaar, all within a 10-15 minute drive. Communication was seamless, with good mobile network coverage and Wi-Fi.

Beautiful, warm and the hosts were super welcoming. Maintained very well, and covers all requirements.
Fans in the room would help since it gets awfully quiet at night.
