Maison de Noble Nicolas

The owners went out of the their way to make sure we had the best possible stay. The rooms were huge, with unique style. We enjoyed learning more about the history of the property, parts of which dated back to the 15th century. There is also a big lawn area for relaxing, with a small pool we enjoyed.

The antique front doorbell (literally a bell, activated by a rope that passes through the outer wall) was not working when we arrived, but we were able to reach the owners and get in by calling.

Heb je een stofallergie, vraag een kamer zonder de grote (prachtige) open kast vol oude boeken. Hou je van literatuur: blijf een week of langer, en je kan uren en uren lezen ;-)

Le salon et le petit-déjeuner

Nous avons passé un séjour magique. C’est un honneur de pouvoir dormir derrière les murs d’une des plus belles maisons de la ville. Le portail s’ouvre à un jardin enchanté au centre d’Avallon, avec une piscine bien pratique par cette canicule. Dans la chambre, un mur de livre inspire à la lecture. Les propriétaires ont été très accueillants avec un petit déjeuner fait maison. Nous avons passé un trés bon séjour!
