Pass the Keys Stylish Central St Albans Flat with Free Parking

Very spacious, comfortable beds. Close to the railway station. Very handy for our destination.

Wir haben St. Albans ausgewählt um zügig mit dem Thameslink Zug nach London zu kommen. Die Wohnung war dafür sehr geeignet, da sie nur ca 1O Minuten Fußmarsch vom Bahnhof entfernt war. Die Wohnung ist gut bis hochwertig ausgestattet. Die 2 Bäder haben wir sehr geschätzt. Die Betten waren sehr gut. Der verfügbare Parkplatz ist auch ein plus, auch wenn dieser recht klein ist, wenn der Nebenmann schlecht parkt.

In Grossen und Ganzen war die Wohnung sauber. Leider mussten wir das Besteck und die Gläser nachspülen. Etwas was wir dieses Jahr öfters erlebt haben. Wir finden das ärgerlich und würden uns freuen wenn die Putzfrauen aber auch die vorherigen Gäste da mehr darauf achten würden. Was wir in der Wohnung problematischer fanden, war die fehlende Lüftung (oder sie ging nicht) in den beiden Bädern. Wenn 4 Leute geduscht haben war die Feuchtigkeit in der Wohnung und man hat sie schwer herausbekommen. Deswegen haben wir uns in der Wohnung auch nicht so wohl gefühlt wie es möglich gewesen wäre.

The flat itself was clean, comfortable and well appointed, with good parking and a convenient location. Once inside, we had a pleasant stay. However, there were very limited instructions provided for using appliances and facilities within the flat, which would have been helpful. Overall, the accommodation itself was good, but future guests should read the booking conditions carefully and be prepared for the verification process before arrival.

The main difficulty was the booking and verification process. Guests should be aware that a third-party verification system is used after booking, involving ID checks, deposits and online verification steps. Some travellers may find this process quite stressful or difficult to navigate, particularly those who are less confident with technology. Unfortunately, we were travelling during a family bereavement, and the additional verification issues added unnecessary stress at an already challenging time.
