Loved the location and the pod itself was wonderful! We visited in February, weather was very cold indeed but the pod was so warm and cosy - very well laid out with a view across a field from the front room. It was very modern and well equipped too and the host was very helpful and even left some fresh milk in the fridge for us.

Home from home, spotless and comfortable stay

The pod was amazing, it was spotless, it had all the lovey touches like slippers and little chocolate treats to welcome you. This was a work trip and the tranquil setting and home away from home feel made it really enjoyable

The pod was very easy to find and the hosts were extremely helpful before arrival sending instructions on how to find the property. Personal car parking space outside the front. Entering was very clean and spacious. Everything we needed was provided. Would 100% be returning.

Clean, comfortable and welcoming. We arrived in the middle of storm Claudia and the heating was on for our arrival and Ella ensured we were all okay during the evening. The little things make a big difference.

This was another very agreeable stay at the Pod.

This was our third stay at the Pod which we have used as a base for my son’s British Triathlon Super Series races at nearby Mallory Park. The Pod is a clean, bright, modern structure in a quiet rural location. There is something rather strangely calming and relaxing about the Pod and its secluded location in a hayfield on Cold Comfort Farm. We always feel well rested after a stay there despite the usual stress of preparing for race day. The Pod is easily the best accommodation we have found while following the Super Series circuit around Britain and we look forward to our visits there.

The hob has only two hot plates which is somewhat limiting when fully self-catering (which the dietary requirements of our triathlete son oblige us to do in the run up to the races). Otherwise nothing to criticise.

Perfect little pod to enjoy a break from a busy life, great value for money, highly recommend

A beautiful little pod in the peace and quiet of the countryside to enjoy a little break, decorated/furnished lovely with everything you need. Towels and slippers provided, very comfortable bed, cooking facilities are good, tea/coffee provided and some little biscuits and chocolate treats which was a lovely touch. We will definitely look to book again for a short break
