Private Mtn Love Shack w/ fast wifi, BBQ & view

The grill. TV had lots of channels and worked fine. The Shack was well stocked with kitchen and bathroom stuff. Games and books, Nicely decorated. Price was good.

Holly Dr going to the Shack was terrible. My Ford Transit Connect Van barely made it to the top and I mean barely. Tires spinning and sliding backwards. That Ford was not made for mountain climbing. I could not make any calls and only a few texts got through with my T-Mobile service so I couldn't connect with my business contacts so I left a day early. Wi-Fi calling did not work for me. I could use the internet just fine. The windows had permanent stains which didn't help with the view. Nice tables to eat outside but it was in the 40's so I had to eat at a tiny table with very small stools inside. No comfortable seating inside except the bed, That big lounge chair in the pictures was gone replaced with a small uncomfortable couch. I'm guessing if the weather was warmer and I had a better car for steep roads and didn't need to make phone calls it would have been much better. I should have known better and not rented "The Love Shack" for business. If you are renting the Love Shack for Love, it would be great.

The cabin was AMAZING!!! The location, the view, the comfort of the bed, the cleanliness of the entire place, even down to the smell it was all 1000% exceptional, and we are already talking about coming back!! I read some reviews about the road and was wondering if it really was bad, or if they were just normal mountain roads. The answer is, they are normal run off the mill mountain roads. You do not need a 4wd vehicle, but I can see where it might get tricky if you are in a car. I have an Expedition XLT and even with it being so long, the road and driveway was not bad at all. Just keep in mind that if you are booking a cabin in the mountains with a view, then that means you will have to drive mountain roads and climb said mountain for that view. All in all it was a great weekend away to reconnect and relax!

Everything was Setup very nicely and gave us a home feeling. I will tell all of my friends about the love shack.

It was cute and fixed up nice. Paid attention to detail. When it got chilly it was nice that we could put in the little fireplace.

The drive up to the cabin was awful. We have a lg 4 wheel drive truck and had to pray we didn’t go over the cliff as we got in and out of the driveway.
