I chose this unit based on the location. Our stay was scheduled for April and I wanted a cozy place with views since I expected a rainy day or two. We received instructions to use a lockbox for the collection of the keys. The apartment has nice soft furnishings and I appreciated the high quality glasses, cutlery etc. The deck has lovely furniture but no sea view - maybe a distant sea view at best. The unit itself was smaller than what I expected for the price and I struggled to find a spot indoors where I could do some yoga. The bathrooms might be a disappointment since they are dated, but rest assured the shower pressure is great. The kitchen has an Nespresso machine, dishwasher and airfryer. We did not do much cooking but it should be possible to cook some meals with what is provided.
Check-in was at 3PM and check-out was at 10AM. Usually check-out is at 11AM if one is only allowed to access a unit at 3PM. The owner did have an opportunity to grant a later check-out after our multi-day stay but chose not to do so.
The rate includes a R1100 cleaning fee. As I was rushing to pack up I received a lengthy message which included an instruction to pack all the dishes in the dishwasher and to turn it on. Even though I packed everything, except for the glasses, in the dishwasher I was quite annoyed. Why send your guest instructions to clean the apartment when they are on holiday and paid a decent amount to allow you to arrange a cleaner.
