Centralità e facilità nel trovare parcheggio, pulizia e ordine all'arrivo. Utensili cucina presenti in quantità. Disponibilità dell'host nella flessibilità di check in e check out. La vista sul porticciolo molto suggestiva

Scale strette all'ingresso, infissi non insonorizzati (la strada è trafficata soprattutto la domenica poiché c'è il mercato), in ogni caso abbastanza sopportabile

The off street parking in Scicily is a bit off a nightmare, however we were able to find one quite close to the unit

The positives are the excellent location near the harbour, market square and train station, the small balcony, the Sunday market outside, and both rocky and sandy beaches within walking distance.

Unfortunately, this apartment didn't live up to expectations. The entrance is scruffy, with a front door that sticks badly and needs planeing and an extremely narrow staircase that many guests, especially anyone larger, would struggle to get past. The walls and paintwork were dirty. The pictures on site are staged. The apartment is very dated and in need of redecorating, with worn mattresses, threadbare and mismatched pillows, bedding, old towels you would throw away at home or use for pets ,and kitchen utensils past their best. I'd also remove the dusty ornaments and give the whole place a proper deep clean. After I contacted the owner, fresh white sheets were provided instead of the greying thin and scratchy ones that were there, which I appreciated, but they were put straight onto an old stained mattress with no mattress protector or coverlet. Guests shouldn't have to spend their time asking for basic standards. The second bedroom is very dark and so uninviting like a convent call that noone in my party wanted to sleep in it. I also had to clean dirt and hairs from tables and drawers, replace empty dispensers and the toilet roll, and wash the pans and cutlery before using them. The oven was greasy and you could not cook in there, the shower had very little pressure, there was no Wi-Fi or satellite TV, and the air conditioning wasn't very effective. This apartment has plenty of potential. A thorough clean, fresh furnishings and a simple refurbishment would make a huge difference. Until then, I'd give it a miss.
