Newly Renovated Maine Retreat: Deck w/ Ocean View!

This is a gem. Restaurant within walking distance. Great view of the bay. Clean, beds are comfortable. Nice kitchen. Located close to FDR international bridge to Campobello in Canada. I tell everyone who nice this was.

I guess it had stairs to bring stuff up. Which was no big deal.

one bathroom towel bar for 5-guest lodging; second bedroom not great: no bedside table or lamp (impossible to read in bed), no wall art. Blinding sun in kitchen at sunset; shade needed in that window.

The apartment was clean, bright, and comfortable with a lovely view over the bay. Although we didn’t cook very often, the kitchen was well-equipped. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. We happened to bump into our host, too, who was lovely. For us, however, the location was a real selling point. We loved that we could walk into town to explore and eat at the various restaurants. We loved, too, that there were so many beautiful places to hike and visit in easy driving distance, including Campobello, which was a highlight.

I’m struggling here! I think perhaps if you used all the beds, including the sofa bed, you might find mealtimes a little cosy but for us it was perfect and if we were ever in the area again I wouldn’t think twice about renting this apartment.
