A very comfortable and nicely decorated room and bathroom. Nice to have a refrigerator, some basic kitchen utensils and a fan. I love Barrio Yungay and the apartment is close to my favorite spots in the neighborhood.

It would be great to be able to use the kitchen and to open the windows.

Location was in an older part of Santiago which we knew when booking wanted to see different perspectives. The people in the neighborhood were very friendly and helpful when we needed help! The murals were so intricate and beautiful.

I contacted the host a month in advance about transportation to and from airport as this was one thing we were needing when booking and the listing stated airport shuttle for extra which we expected to pay. When we arrived the host could not pick us up due to work schedule so we took taxi. She noted she would take us to airport next day as arranged. We agreed upon a time. We were keeping her updated throughout the day of our plans and even notified her we would be available to go even earlier (7p instead of 730p as arranged) if she was able. She didn't respond until arranged time to go to airport that she wasn't going to be on time but maybe 20-30min late. Our flight time was fast approaching and we didn't feel safe waiting any longer since there wasn't a concrete time guaranteed anymore. We ran down the street and frantically hailed a cab and narrowly making the boarding for our flight which kind of made our experience negative as we left he country.
