Spacious Family Home with Pool & Beach Access

The location is great within Puerto Aventuras. The beach is 2 min by car, and the main commercial area is nearby. There is a big fridge at the property and water dispenser. The space is big enough for a family of 6. No max as the beds are small. There is hot water in the showers and AC in all rooms.

The property could benefit from better maintenance. The total blackout blinds in the master bedroom are damaged, so there is only one blind-type curtain, which lets some traces of light into the room. I am a person that likes to sleep in total darkness, and this was not possible. The BBQ grill is broken. This was one of the main reasons we chose this property, and we were unable to use it at all. There are no wine glasses, so we had to buy two at Chedraui (they are still there if you see them). We also had to use plastic cups for other drinks, as the property does not have enough cups. There is also a shortage of forks. There is no corkscrew. We had to ask our neighbours for one. The most serious issue was the cleanliness of the sheets. The sheets in the room with two beds had a very strong smell, as if they had not been washed before our arrival. We were charged MXN 1,400 as a cleaning fee, which does not seem justified given this. To access the private neighbourhood, a QR code is required. This was not provided in advance. We only received it after arriving at the entrance gate and had to wait several minutes for the host to respond. We paid MXN 36,000 for five nights, and it genuinely feels like a waste of money. The experience did not match the value of the amount paid. The host takes hours to reply.
