The place is spacious and rooms and washrooms are really clean

The parking space is on the road side. But there was no problem to park the vehicles. It’s bit hard to locate the place in the map since the road leads to the villa was very narrow.

The house is very modern and in a residential neighborhood, with friendly neighbors. The house is large with a lot of amenities, including a full kitchen. The hosts were great and were quick to respond to our requests.

When we arrived, the host had left three towels for a group of eight people. However, after being told we need more towels, they purchased additional towels for us. They also left two rolls of toilet paper, and, again, purchased more when we said two rolls are not enough for eight people for a five-night stay. When we went to use the pool, there was a film of grime on the pool because the filter wasn't turned on. It did clear up after we turned on the filter. I feel like these issues should have been anticipated and could have been prepared in advance of our stay. There was also an unanticipated issue with plumbing (water didn't work) that was fixed the same day. The location is in a neighborhood, which was really nice. However, it was very close to a fish market. So each time you step out, it is quite the smell, although you get used to it quickly. I also wish they would accept credit cards rather than requiring cash.

The pool, kitchen & laundry facilities were great. The local staff on site were very responsive and helpful despite some of the issues with the property. Neighbours were amazingly friendly and helpful.

Location is deliberately misleading. It is not in Jaffna Town, it’s in Passaiyoor which is a small, densely populated fishing community about 10km away. This is not disclosed and ‘2nd Cross Street Jaffna’ is provided as the address. When we got there, we were told it was actually at a different location. Hot water was not working and had to be resolved. The entry is via an unpaved dark laneway with a car can’t access so you will have to lug your bags down this lane to the house. So many stairs. It’s 3 floors. Not great for old people.
