Convenient location

The home is cozy, nicely decorated, has comfy beds, and is located in a quiet area of town. We also appreciated the complimentary snacks and coffee selection.

The home was extremely hot during our stay in July, and the cooling system did not keep the house at a comfortable temperature. Adding swamp coolers during the summer months could help improve comfort. We also found the door code to be unnecessarily long. A shorter 4-digit code, such as the last four digits of your phone number, would be much more convenient for guests.

Nice, quaint, older adobe equipped well enough for our stay in Albuquerque. Quiet neighborhood. Reasonably priced and reasonably accessible for what we needed to accomplish. Nice back yard with string lights to hang out in the evening. Good washer and dryer. Reasonably well-equipped kitchen with nice stoneware dishes. Covered off-street parking. Coded entry.

Evaporative cooling struggles to keep up with August heat. Lack of access to walking. I should have looked more closely at the map as I expected to have easier access to multiple roads for getting around Albuquerque and for walking trails in the bosque. Edith Enclave is exactly that: an enclave at the very end of a small road with one way in and out. One of the beds is barely functional. The slat springs don't fit the frame and it sounds like you are breaking the bed. Small dresser in one closet is broken. Kitchen faucet handle could not adjust water temperature without pliers as the handle was not attached. Single bath only for three bedroom house which can sleep seven people. However, it met our needs. We didn't need the ultimate vacation hideaway; we had personal business to take care of and the house met our needs adequately for a five-night stay.
