The Woodsman Country Lodge Motel

It was adequate for our needs and was quiet.

No breakfast and not many dining options in the area. We were exploring Crater Lake, so was a long drive.

The room was decorated so cute!

nothing

Given the other choices of lodging in the wider region, not counting the larger towns that were further away, the Woodsman Country Lodge was quite nice. The area is devoid of decent motels, so this one was a good find. We structured our three days in the area around this motel's location. The room was clean and very creatively decorated with a woodsman theme. The bed was comfortable.

The HVAC system was a challenge. There was a wall unit air conditioner to provide cooling and a gas furnace to provide heat. We needed to balance the two to keep the room temperature comfortable. The gas furnace seemed to run more than it needed to maintain the room temperature. One day, even after turning down the thermostat before leaving, we returned to find a very warm room. The bathtub faucet had a continuous stream of water coming from the hot water side. I could not turn it off. The office was not open in the morning so we could not report it before leaving for the day.

Klasicen old stil westeren lodge, prakticen za prenocitev, vse v blizini 5 minut trgovina, bar, pumpa.

Tudi tukaj ocitno ne marajo europejcev, kljub zgodnji rezervaciji dobili prvo in edino sobo tik ob glavni cesti celo noc posludal avte in kamione kako vozijo mimo, sob je bilo se praznih z boljso pozocijo!
