La Casa di Pietra

The view was spectacular from the villa.the private chef was outstanding. Our driver was fabulous and very kind. Lorenzo, the host, went above and beyond for our entire stay.

The transportation as everything was very far away and transportation costs add up quickly. The garbage is very important to them, however, the instructions are in Italian and the garbage cans are as big as a gallon of milk. As guests, we shouldn't have to worry about the garbage and sorting it five ways. The last thing that we didn't like was getting scolded for drinking wine by the house cleaner.

Absolutely loved the terrace with a perfect, clear view of isle of Capri with beautiful sunsets every night. The swimming pool area was perfect for lounging around during the day and playing table tennis and enjoying the warm weather. Kitchen and terrace was great for making/serving food. Our host, Lorenzo, is a lovely man who was very welcoming, accommodating and helped make sure our stay was as good as possible. Massa Lubrense is very close by, 5 mins by car. There are some lovely restaurants and some grocery shop within near by also.

There isn't anything I didn't like about the villa, however there is some very narrow roads leading to the entrance but this is necessary for the view and privacy. You get used to it very quickly.

Very spacious, brand new kitchen, lots of bathrooms and perfect pool. The view from the patio in the evening was breathtaking. Lorenzo the manager was very attentive and helpful. Lots of contacts for things to do. We hired electric bikes which was brilliant for short excursions.

The approach to the property is very narrow and steep. Make sure you only hire small cars!!!
