The Skewbald

We absolutely loved our stay in this quirky little piece of heaven! Just something a little bit different and so lovely! Martin and Rosemary were fabulous hosts! So friendly and helpful! We lovely all the special little touches like the delicious carrot cake etc. Martin showed us around all the gorgeous animals which we also loved. The hot tub was a very welcome treat after hiking 'The Stairway to Heaven' which is very close by. The bed was so comfortable and we got the best night's sleep! I would highly recommend The Skewbald!

We loved everything!

Everything was amazing. Rosemary and her beautiful dogs greeted us on arrival and they were both so welcoming and friendly! She spent ages getting the hot tub to light for us despite the terrible weather. The Skewbald was so cozy and cute and we were left with a little treat and a notebook with lots of useful details about the place and the area. After a dreamy night in the cosiest, comfiest bed ever, we met Martin who noticed us admiring the sheep and let us see them closer as well as introducing us to all their beautiful horses! It is such a special place and we so loved meeting everyone there and talking away. We can’t wait to be back and will be recommending it to everyone!
