Pierre and Isabelle were amazing hosts, waited for us when we needed to check in late, helped to accommodate us and suggested nearest place for the dinner. The breakfast and views were incredible.

Isobel is a totally charming host and as for the premises - Wow! architect-designed (her husband) on the side of a hill overlooking Swellendam and a fabulous mountain which sometimes disappears in the clouds (which seems quite amazing!). You can literally sit outside and admire the view or walk up to the patio at the top to take in 360 degrees. Our host and home is memorable but the rest of the stay is not to be forgotten. Lovely big room. We ate at a local place suggested (and booked) by Isobel, Swellendam has some places of historic interest - Dutch style old buildings etc. - so worth a stroll down the main street.

Absolutely brilliant property, owned and managed by Isabel. Honestly her help on our garden route tour was excellent, but the property is really beautiful. Better than any hotel that we stayed in South Africa.
