The Stone Cottage at Wollondibby - Heritage Listed l Renovated l Fire Place

Great location to access the ski tube, Thredbo and Jindabyne. Lovely setting with kangaroos hoping outside the front door. Classic mountain cabin with all the comfort of boutique hotel. Near the Alpine way however never felt visually exposed or noisy. Stayed here to access skiing, which worked perfectly, and would love to return for mountain hiking, fishing or romantic get away.

The fire was excellent. The location was close enough to snowfields. Neat & tidy. Comfortable bed. The wildlife that visited were the highlight.

We were contacted within minutes of arriving & asked to move the car off the grass. No privacy. Workmen/cars drive past the cottage via the shared driveway alongside the premises & the view is the busy road. Nowhere to sit outside. Very small inside. Couldn’t walk down one side of bed, so if you had to get up, you have to climb over each other. Had to purchase kindling for fire. Shower was underwhelming. Overpriced for what it is.
