Les Nuits de Vieillespeze

Les Nuits de Vieillespeze is one of those unexpected joys you sometimes come across when travelling overseas on a self-drive adventure. The hosts (Gerard & Laurence) are two of the nicest people we have ever come across. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome. Their family dog, Oscar, who was an ever-present playful companion, was an added bonus. With food prepared fresh daily by a former chef, you know the meals are going to be sensational, and they were. Each night was such a 3 course (slate board) treat we chose to eat in rather than travel 5 kilometres up the road to try the Michelin star restaurant located near Castle Anjony in the next village. The room booked was spacious and very comfortable. We loved the region (despite 1 of the local roads being a 1 car width hillside challenge) and could have stayed much longer. Next time!

Séjour incroyable en plein cœur du pays de Salers, un calme absolu. Les hôtes sont adorables et proposent une cuisine maison absolument délicieuse à leur table d’hôtes ! La chambre est immense et super bien équipée, le lit est immense

L accueil des propriétaires et la qualité prestations culinaires sans oublier un emplacement très calme .

Excellent accueil, dans une maison calme et superbement renovée, de grandes chambres avec une belle vue sur la vallée. Un grand jardin et des animaux (poules et chèvres) qui ont ravi notre petite fille. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux et nous conseillons aussi de dîner sur place (à reserver 24h à l’avance). Un gîte d’exception !
