Luxurious Cairo escape

Great communication, fast replies, very quiet neighborhood.

Dust and cleaning :/ Furniture tops and counter tops could use better dusting, balcony could use a bit more attention and cleaning. Could provide towels for bathing and toilets. Even kitchen utensils and glassware could be cleaned better, found some lipstick stain on a couple of glasses.

The owner, although we never got to meet him,was excellent. His daughter, the same. the location was fine,close to the airport,reasonably safe area other than the crazy Egyptian drivers .Place was huge. it was like being in Egypt in the 1950s. And I mean that positively.we always like to travel where the locals live and this was perfect.

There really wasn’t much not to like about the property, to nitpick …the door. Lock was a bit of a problem and ironically being from Canada, we found it quite cool at night unless we turned the air conditioner/heater on. Other than that, it was great. Just a quick hint for Omar the owner, who by the way is a great guy, he describes a hot tub which for us is really just a bathtub so we spent the first five minutes, looking for the hot tub only to realize that it was just a figure of speech. But I wish to really emphasize that. Yes ….that is strictly nitpicking. The place was great value and the owner and family were superb.

I had a wonderful stay. The host is a real gentleman — kind, respectful, and very helpful. I arrived quite late, and he patiently waited for me. Even though we met only once, he was always available and attentive during my stay, offering advice and assistance whenever needed. Highly recommended.

L'appartement est propre et très spacieux, avec deux salles de bain et de grands lits. Notre hôte Omar est très aimable et serviable et parle un excellent français. Pratique car proche de l'aéroport.

Pas très facile à trouver sur les GPS ce qui fait galérer les chauffeurs apparemment.
