First time in Lahore, first time back in Pakistan after 12+ years living in the US. A friend recommended The Fred and I came in with zero expectations. I was wrong to.
This place is legitimately good. Not "good for Pakistan" good. Good by any standard. The rooms are clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. The setup and maintenance are what you'd expect from a solid 4-star property in the US or Europe. No corners cut, no pleasant surprises that turn into disappointments after day one. Consistent throughout.
The staff is the real differentiator. Naveed Khan, M. Waqas, Danyal from housekeeping, Nadeem, Sara, and Aqeel were all sharp, attentive, and clearly trained properly. You can tell the difference between staff that's been drilled on hospitality versus staff that actually gets it. This team gets it.
We tried all three restaurants during our stay. All three delivered on food quality and service. That's not easy to pull off. Most hotels nail one and let the others slide. The Fred didn't.
If I'm back in Lahore, I'm staying here. Comfortably, for as long as needed. That's the highest compliment I can give a hotel.

Fred had an immaculate vibe to it from the moment you would enter the doors. If you really want a foreign experience, Fred is the best place to stay. The best part about it are the restaurants that are within the premises, we didn't even feel the need to go out because top notch food was already available. Definitely will be our go to place from now on.
