Great potential with excellent location and good design, but some problems.

Location and design

Unfortunately although this had the potential to be a very good option for Cheltenham due to its great location and modern simple design, there were some significant problems. The property was not properly cleaned, in particular the carpets were very grimy. The oven was not working during the short stay. The lock on the door to the apartment was not very secure, the door could easily be breached while locked.

Nice apartment in a very central location

Central location in Cheltenham, everything is max a couple of minutes walk. The apartment is comfortable for up to four people with two bedrooms with double beds.

Limited stock of plates and cutlery in the kitchen. The beds are not the most comfortable. There is no dedicated parking and while nearby parking is available it requires a bit of daily planning.

Location to town brilliant. Clean and minimalist. Well equipped. Nice high ceilings. Very near a good carpark.

Outlook back and front not so good although the property in front is being renovated which will improve it. Cold air coming through bedroom windows.

Blankets or throws would be nice for living room. Door stoppers so they don't constantly slam. Hot water doesn't last long.

Nos gustó todo, limpio, cómodo, bien decorado, todo casi nuevo, bien ubicado. Las camas muy cómodas, cocina con enseres.

Schönes, sauberes Appartement mit zwei Schlafzimmern

Schönes Appartement mit zwei Schlafzimmern, kleinem Bad, Wohn/Esszimmer und Kochecke. Es gibt eine Waschmaschine, falls man länger unterwegs ist und mal was waschen muss. Ich glaube, es gibt auch eine Spülmaschine, allerdings gibt es von allem Geschirr nur vier Teile, also vier Teller, vier Tassen, vier Gläser, etc., d.h., die würde gar nicht voll. Wir haben mit der Hand gespült. Es gibt gutes WLan und ein Zettel mit allen Infos hängt über dem Sofa. Das Appartement liegt sehr zentral, quasi neben der Fußgängerzone, aber nicht gerade im schönsten Teil von Cheltenham. Nachts ist es leise. Parkplätze gibt es direkt gegenüber, allerdings ist es auf dem Parkplatz in der Parallelstrasse günstiger. Beim Check-In über die Homepage kann man sein Auto registrieren lassen, kann sein, dass man dann quasi als Anwohner umsonst parken kann, dafür mal den Anbieter fragen. Wir hatten zum Zeitpunkt des Check-Ins noch kein Auto und waren eh nur zwei Tage da, insofern haben wir das nicht gemacht. Zur Begrüßung standen zwei Bier im Kühlschrank, worüber wir uns gefreut haben. Neben der Miete muss man 200 Pfund als Kaution per Kreditkarte hinterlegen, das Geld war 3 Tage nach Abreise wieder zurück gebucht. Würden wir nochmal nach Cheltenham reisen, würden wir das Appartement auf jeden Fall wieder buchen, Preis/Leistung ist top.

Kommunikation über booking.com oder per Mail klappt überhaupt nicht, man kriegt keine Antwort. Bei Problemen am besten anrufen, dann geht es sehr schnell und die kümmern sich. Einige Zimmertüren im Appartement knallen automatische zu, das ist laut, nervt und ist sinnlos, keine Ahnung, warum man nicht einfach ganz normale Türen eingebaut hat. Die Balkontüren haben billige Verschlüsse, in einem Zimmer war der Haken oben kaputt, sodass man sie gar nicht richtig schließen konnte und der Wind die Türen dauernd aufgedrückt hat, aber das ist womöglich inzwischen repariert. Die Fenster in Wohn/Essbereich hätte man mal putzen können und mir persönlich gefallen kahle weiße Wände nicht besonders, ein paar Bilder hätten nicht geschadet. Allerdings waren wir nur zwei Tage da, insofern, was soll’s…
