The Blue Jay at Zen Zion

Perfect location for our hiking trips to Bryce, Zion, Red Canyon, Duck Creek Village. Even though it was not Farr off the highway, we did not hear traffic. The setting was very peaceful The kitchen was well equipped The bed in the master was very comfortable and the heating and cooling systems were great!

There was no hot water for showers. After 2 minutes, the hot water ran out. We did return from hiking around 5-6 each night and at that time the water ran cold very quickly. That was disappointing. Weirdly, there only 2 drinking glasses. A small pet peeve of an older couple/ a Smart not cable tv. Er do not have streaming apps. It is very far from a grocery store- shop in Cedar City but Tim’s grocery was key for small items and the store employees were lovely. It was our first time having a house through a property management company with multiple properties. Generally our hosts have been just for the one property and very knowledgeable about the area and gave us great tips. When we did call, the customer rep told us they managed 14 properties around the country so we missed a little of the intimacy of previous hosts.

Es war in echt genauso schön wie auf den Bildern. Sehr viel Liebe zum Detail, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Und super Infos von den Vermietern. Wir wären wirklich gerne länger geblieben als eine Nacht.

Sehr gut ausgestattetes, alleinstehendes, gemütliches Ferienhaus mit Terrasse und Grill ca. 4 km nördlich von Glendale und in ruhiger Lage etwas abseits des Highway. Hot Tub benutzbar; stabiles WLAN, eigener kostenloser Parkplatz neben dem Haus. Problemloser Check in und Check out, indem alle Informationen rechtzeitig per Mail mitgeteilt wurden. Auf dem großen Waldgrundstück stehen insgesamt ca. 5 Ferienwohnhäuser, jedoch mit gebührendem Abstand zueinander.

Un joli cabanon offrant tout le confort nécessaire, placé dans un endroit hors du temps bercé entre un petit lac et une jolie rivière dans un cadre verdoyant. La petite terrasse avec le bras zéro est vraiment un must pour profiter de l'ambiance extérieure (bois de chauffage mis à disposition, très apprécié)!

Les seuls bémols sont le passage d'une route assez fréquentée en contre bas (mais qui se calme en fin de journée), le manque d'entretien des extérieurs (beaucoup de choses trainaient sur la terrasse arrière et comme nous sommes venus en automne, beaucoup de feuilles avaient envahi les lieux, ça donnait donc encore plus l'impression de fouillis) et le fait qu'il n'y ait pas grand chose dans les alentours pour manger (que ce soit supérettes ou resto -> prévoyez des réserves surtout niveau bières/vins, ca ne court pas les rues dans la région ^^).
