Cozy Room St Julian's

La zona es bastante práctica, cerca de la parada de bus y a unos 15 minutos del puerto del ferry. Las áreas comunes con muy amplias, heladera grande, mesas con 6 y 8 sillas. El baño también es bastante grande. Las instrucciones de check in son claras y fáciles. La limpieza siempre estuvo bien, pero tengo que decir que me tocó compartir El apto con un estudiante super agradable y prolijo, así que asumo que esta parte dependerá con quien te toque compartirlo. El hecho de que tenga lavadora y secadora es muy práctico con un área para colgar la ropa.

La habitación es bastante chica y desproporcionada al resto del apto, sumado a que no hay estantes donde organizar tus cosas, solo un placar donde solamente se pueden colgar ropa en perchas,sin estantes; asi que la falta de organización hace que la habitación se sienta más pequeña. Otro tema es que el material de las paredes es de un revestimiento plástico, que se siente bastante húmedo, aunque hay una ventana para ventilar. En cuanto a la puerta es de vidrio esmerilado, así que toda luz qué se encienda en el pasillo va a molestar. Me sumo a la opinión de que una jarra eléctrica sería muy práctica, y ya de paso alguna licuadora ya que prácticamente no hay electrodomésticos en esa gran cocina. Hay que tener en cuenta que es una muy linda zona, pero.para estadías turísticas cortas no es la más práctica. Para quien esta una semana como mi caso , molesta menos el tiempo de traslado un poco mayor.

The apartment is on a quiet lane with minimal traffic. So no noise at all. The apartment has only two rooms in the apartment, so you only needa share the space with one more person. Kitchen and bathroom are clean and organized. The common space is clean overall too. Washing machine and dryer are free to use. Good hot shower and wifi. Grocery stores are just around the corner. Check-in instructions are easy and clear.

Somehow the floor in the room is not mopped thoroughly with hairs visible (but the common space is quite clean). Same for bedding too; not unclean, but have a feel of dampness. Washing machine and dryer (supposed to be used between 9am to 9pm) are just next to the bedroom so it would be loud when it runs. If you want to wake up later but someone use it at 9am, it could be a problem. Communication via booking.com app is not quick, whatsapp is much faster.

Room with AC and key, big kitchen with utensils and living room as well as outside patio. Place to dry the clothes. Hair dryer, towels provided. Room and house exactly like in the pictures so no negative surprises. The host replied fast to enquiries and there were self check in so it was great for late arrivals. The place was clean, particularly the room. The location was really good: 7 minute walk to Balluta Bay but not so central it is too loud.

The other guests were not very clean, they didn't do the dishes and left trash around in the kitchen. This is not the property's fault, I check in in a Saturday and Monday the house was fully and impecably cleaned. The only thing I can advise is for the property to put out the rules because apparently some people lack common sense. If you book as a group of family this will be an excellent home stay. If you travel solo you may get lucky or not with the other guests. But there was an hostel nearby for almost the same price per night, so you basically pay the same or just a couple more euros and have a private room just for yourself. Two or three people in an apartment will always be less messy than 6 or 10 people in a room. An electric kettle would be nice. Maybe AC in the bathroom and living room, but that is just really being picky. The place is a few houses down the address provided in Booking, would be nice to update the address because I was a bit lost initially.
