'Sydney' - Luxurious waterfront penthouse in Battery Point

The property was outstanding on design, comfort and location.

What a lovely property. From the moment you walk in the door the apartment is bright with expansive views over Hobart Harbour. You can sit on the balcony and just watch the world slowly go by in peace. Being so close to the city and Salamanca Bay you can walk easily to restaurants, cafes, attractions and markets. Complimentary minibar is a nice touch thank you as too are the use of 4 x e-bikes in the garage area.

A few small niggles given the luxury fit out and location of the property and nightly rental fees. - Hot! We were in the apartment for 2 nights in Feb 2026. Air con could not keep up with the heat coming thru the sky lights and the double-glazed glass doors onto the balcony. Night times were ok. - Sky lights! Not sure why there are skylights in the proximity of the bedrooms that can’t be blocked out. Luckily we are early risers but the sun comes up after 5am and by 5:30am the rooms are alight. Could some electric blinds be put over the sky lights in bedroom no 2 and over the glass panel between bedroom no 1 and the en-suite bathroom please? - Kitchen utensils - as a self contained apartment the kitchen area is adequately equipped with lots of nice crockery and cutlery and appliances but simple items like a veggie peeler, salad bowl /bread bowl would have topped it off.
