Ben was a gem to rent from with good communication, promptly responding when we reached out to him. The home was nicely decorated, with ample space to stretch out and relax, and well appointed with starter essentials. The pool was private, with a privacy fence, and a welcome end to our days and after going to the beach. There was a great supply of beach items to make our time there enjoyable...umbrella, chairs, blanket, sifter, etc. The temp of the home was just right, never needing to adjust the thermostat. Each bedroom had a fan for those needing a little noise or extra air movement. Plenty of towels, comfortable beds, and decent cookware. The home was close to shopoing, restaurants, and of course, the beaches! Our fav spot is Caspersen where this year we found over 1000 shark teeth! Thanks Blakely family for a great homebase!

We had a short two night stay at this location. The location itself feels like home. The owners have done a great job creating a welcoming space. The house is located close to everything and was well stocked. It is our favorite spot that we have stayed at in Venice. We tried to rebook right away for another stay in June but unfortunately it’s already booked. We will definitely attempt to book again for future stays . The owners were quick to communicate with us and make sure everything was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay with our kids and grandkids.Between the beautiful home & pool and quite a few beaches being just 10-15 minutes away, there was plenty to do.Ben & Sandi responded quickly to any questions!Plenty of places to thrift, sightsee, shop and eat.Some favorites were :-Sarasta/ Ringling Estate: (Free on Mondays-to the art museum & grounds/ playground for the kids)-visits to Detwilers market with the grandkids for icecream.- Myakka River state pk./ Sarasota ( alligator's and sky walk)-Caspersen and Manasota beach to find shark's teeth (loved that you provided the sifters)-Coffee shops : Serenity Sips and Lord Higels-sunset on the beach and beautiful Venice.Beautiful memories!!
