Escape to A-Frame of Mind, a stylish mountain retreat in Tannersville, Great Northern Catskills. This unique, pet-friendly chalet, set on over 2 acres of land amidst dense woods, comfortably sleeps 6-8 guests, offering stunning views, an all-season hot tub, and a wood-burning fire pit. Perfectly located just minutes from Hunter Mountain, Kaaterskill Falls, and Tannersville Village, it's ideal for skiing, hiking, or a tranquil escape. This property offers a unique blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, designed for relaxation and adventure.
KEY FEATURES:
★ Bedrooms & Sleeping: 3 bedrooms, comfortably sleeping 6 guests with a maximum capacity of 8.
• Primary bedroom (downstairs): Queen-size bed.
• Two upstairs bedrooms: Each with a double bed.
• Living room: West Elm couch converts to a queen-size memory foam mattress, with extra pillows and blankets.
• All beds feature memory foam mattresses, plush pillows, and hotel-grade 100% cotton linens. Bedrooms upstairs have sloped a-frame walls and can feel narrow for taller guests.
★ Bathrooms: 2 full bathrooms, stocked with towels, bath mats, paper goods, and complimentary toiletries.
★ Living Area:
• Cozy living space with a gas burning fireplace.
• 50-inch Samsung Frame smart TV for entertainment.
• Sonos speaker for streaming music.
• Full-size washer and dryer on main floor with laundry supplies.
★ Kitchen & Dining:
• Fully-stocked kitchen with all appliances and items needed for cooking.
• Complimentary fresh-brewed, locally-roasted coffee and a variety of teas.
★ Workspace: Private workspace in the primary bedroom with a desk and high-speed Wi-Fi.
★ Outdoor Amenities:
• Three wrap-around porches, perfect for entertaining or enjoying mountain views.
• Deck with an outdoor dining table for 6 and a charcoal grill.
• All-season hot tub with ambient string lighting.
• Wood-burning fire pit and chiminea with complimentary wood.
• Custom cornhole boards for lawn games (warmer months).
GUEST ACCESS
Guests will have exclusive access to the entire A-Frame home and its expansive 2+ acre grounds. For your convenience, the red shed on the property is available for storing skis or larger gear during your stay.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
High-speed Wifi (1 gbps) internet is provided. While we have very reliable internet considering our mountaintop location, the strength of cell service is not guaranteed. We recommend enabling Wifi calling to use as a backup.
Use of the hot tub is included in the accommodation fee. However, we reserve the right to charge for any damages, excessive cleaning costs or maintenance caused by misuse and not following posted directions. Our hot tub is professionally cleaned, sanitized and maintained before and after each reservation.
There is one stationary, motion sensor camera on premises overlooking the driveway ONLY. Decks, hot tub, yard and any entertaining spaces are not monitored or visible by the camera.
In the winter, the driveway is plowed after every snow storm over 3 inches and a walkway is shoveled and salted leading up to the front door. Should you require more, there are shovels and salt for guest use.
During the winter months, we also recommend a car with 4WD as there is an incline from the base of the gravel driveway up to the house. Not absolutely necessary, but definitely easier!
Being in the mountains of the Catskills, you will likely see wildlife — deer, groundhogs, turkeys, foxes, and bears — on the property during your stay.
All food items and utensils should be brought inside and the charcoal grill scraped clean after use to avoid having unwanted visitors. It is very important to discard all garbage in the secure bear-proof bin off the deck.
We are dog-friendly, and charge a $150 pet fee for furry friends. Dogs must be approved at the time of booking. We reserve the right to charge for pets brought on premises without pre-approval.

A delight after my kids and I camped around the Adirondack region for 3 weeks. The hot tub was lovely and the house was clean and welcoming. The owner was quick to book and answer if we had any issues. Would recommend!
