Welcome to the Elgin Vacation Home, a modern vacation home with Nordic-style furnishings located in historic Groß Schoritz—the birthplace of Ernst Moritz Arndt. This quiet village in southern Rügen is surrounded by vast fields, old orchards, and the unspoiled Bodden landscape, which invites you to enjoy walks, bike rides, and relaxing moments in nature.
With just under 110 m², the house offers plenty of space for up to 6 people—ideal for families, friends, or multigenerational trips.
As soon as you enter, you’ll be greeted by a bright, welcoming entryway. From here, you’ll step into the spacious living and dining area with an open kitchen. Large windows flood the house with light, while the wood-burning stove creates a warm, cozy atmosphere—perfect for long evenings after exploring the island.
The adjoining, south-facing sun terrace stretches the entire length of the house. Here you can barbecue, relax, and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. The fully fenced-in garden surrounds the property and is a real highlight—ideal for children and dogs, who can play here safely and freely.
Upstairs, three bright bedrooms await you:
– two rooms with double beds and closets
– a lovingly designed children’s room with two single beds
