About this house rental
This spacious 5 bedroom 4.5 bath beachfront home is gorgeous! Large rooms with plenty of space for the whole family. The interior is tastefully decorated for that tranquil beach setting. Soak up some rays on this beautiful beachfront scenic balcony complete with loungers and chairs. The Turtle House is directly on the beach, and boats an unobstructed view! We have a washer and dryer in the unit for your convenience. We are close to Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Moody Gardens, and the beach along with many other Galveston attractions. With a short drive from The Historic Pleasure Pier and historic downtown Galveston, we are confident you'll fall in love with all that Galveston Island has to offer! Just bring your beach gear and head down today. Located directly on the beach, this spacious 5 bedroom, 4.5 baths home has a beautiful sun-soaked double balcony, a gorgeous kitchen, and an unobstructed view of the coast. A beautiful sofa and a flat-screen TV make the living area inviting, along with a dining area and gorgeous kitchen to cook up a fresh gulf catch!
The bedrooms are spacious, with attractive flooring throughout and 4.5 bathrooms that will surly leave an impression. The master bedroom has a private balcony. Outside you can enjoy the beach or our community pool complete with pool loungers, BBQ with our grill pad downstairs with our picnic table and outdoor rocker downstairs, or head out and do some fishing, family activities, and a wide choice of excellent restaurants! We are sure this beautiful setting will ensure some serious relaxation time!
Curl up on chilly evenings and enjoy the flat-screen TV in the living area next to a warm fireplace. On warmer days, slide the balcony door open and let the cool breezes flow in. The balcony has a direct view of the waves and has room for everyone. Sit and enjoy the views with your evening cocktails.
The dining room has seating for 15 and an open kitchen gives you plenty of utility. There is also a washer/dryer available for your convenience. With a king bed in the master, 1 additional king, 3 full, and 7 twins you'll be sure to accommodate all of your guests with seating and plenty of floor space.
With only a walk outside to the beach and 5 minutes to a local shopping center and groceries, this is a great location for a wonderful Vacation here in Galveston. We are just a short drive from the seawall. Walking along the Seawall and ending at Galveston Fishing Pier, a 20-minute walk away is an excellent place to throw out some lines, and catch some really amazing fish, maybe even for dinner!
If you're looking to go out to eat, Galveston has many delicious restaurants to choose from. Jimmy's on the Pier or The Spot, are both great casual restaurants with a unique Galveston flair. If you are looking for something more formal or fresh gulf seafood, we suggest the world famous Gaidos opened in 1911.
At the Turtle House, you are close to close to the beaches, all the shops and restaurants of the seawall, and close to Historic Downtown Galveston. Our guests will also have access to the West End Gym during their stay! A perfect location for your Vacation Destination!

This rental property is not used for Nuisance Parties or Unlawful Gatherings. 6 adult maximum plus their dependent children are allowed at the property.
If available, fees applied for early check in and late check out being up to 80% of the nightly rate depending on time requested
Unauthorized late check-out will incur a penalty of $150 + tax.
For your safety and security, there may be public-facing cameras installed on the property.
We do our best to ensure guests have a 5-star experience. Guests will be provided with a start-up supply of household items such as laundry soap, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc so that upon check-in you do not need to run to the store. We do not provide salt, pepper, oils, and spices. If you are staying longer than a few days you will need to purchase these items. Thank you!

wonderful location with excellent access to beach. house accommodated our family of 11 well. House has creative decor. Would take extra trash bags and spoons if staying again. everything else was more than adequate for our needs

We had a great vacation at the Turtle House, it for our family of 15 very well. Proximity to the beach was wonderful as we spent most of our days there. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking but lacked dish towels and clothes we had to buy our own. One of the showers upstairs was not working and the floor in the bottom bathroom was a little saggy/soft and had an Oder. The outdoor furniture needs replaced there was not much cushion left, I feel a table and chairs would be better suited. All in all we had a great stay and would consider staying here again, the few cons did not hinder our stay.

The house was very clean and nice however for a house that sleeps 19 people there needs to be more silverware and towels. The tooster didn't work the blender had a hole in it and neither outside grill was usable. The house was nice. Just minor things that could be improved but

We enjoyed 4 nights at the Turtle House. The location couldn't be beat as we could see the water from inside and out at all times. There were lots of rooms and bed set ups to accommodate our family. Open kitchen, dining, family area. Fun arcade games in one room. Access to a pool that we did not use. Great experience. Had an issue with the freezer that rental company responded to as best they could. A couple other small freezers helped, though damage to ice creams was done. Rental company made financial accommodation in fairness. Would absolutely stay again in the future.
