Welcome to the Elgin Vacation Home, a modern, Scandinavian-style vacation home in historic Groß Schoritz—the birthplace of Ernst Moritz Arndt. This quiet village in southern Rügen is surrounded by vast fields, old orchards, and the unspoiled Bodden landscape, which invites you to take walks, go on bike rides, and enjoy relaxing moments in nature.
With just under 110 m², the house offers plenty of space for up to 6 people—ideal for families, friends, or multigenerational trips.
As soon as you walk in, you’ll be greeted by a bright, welcoming entryway. From here, you’ll enter the spacious living and dining area with an open kitchen. Large windows flood the house with light, while the wood-burning stove creates a warm, cozy atmosphere—perfect for long evenings after exploring the island.
The adjoining, south-facing sun terrace stretches the entire length of the house. Here you can barbecue, relax, and enjoy the peace and quiet of the surroundings. The fully fenced-in garden surrounds the property and is a real highlight—ideal for children and dogs, who can play here safely and freely.
Upstairs, three bright bedrooms await you:
– two rooms with a double bed and closet
– a lovingly decorated children’s room with two single beds
