About this cabin rental

If you are looking for a tranquil retreat, you've found it. This property overlooks deep water views of Table Rock Lake and backs to Mark Twain National Forest. You won't find another one like it! Guests enjoy private space and parking right outside the loft. The loft faces west, so you will enjoy glorious sunsets while soaking in the hot tub. If you enjoy fishing, or reading by the water, there is a path down to the waterfront. Book your quaint retreat today! Black Bear Loft is located above our detached garage. We live on site full time so we are able to address any concerns or make suggestions to make your stay in Shell Knob the best it can be. We are located in the heart of the Ozark’s so there are stairs and uneven stone steps leading to our loft. If you have trouble walking this is not the property for you. You must be able to carry luggage as it will not roll across the stone pathway. THIS IS A NO SMOKING PROPERTY. THIS INCLUDES INSIDE THE LOFT OR ANYWHERE AROUND THE GROUNDS! Smoking will result in the cancellation of your stay

Outdoor property is well maintained. We enjoyed the fact that there was swim, and boat access 7 minutes (right) down YY that you can pay 5 to enter and lots of good food options 5 minutes (left) down YY as well. Very thankful!

It was more than we expected! It had all the amenities that we were looking for and we loved the relaxing atmosphere and the beautiful views especially from the hot tub area. Would love to stay again!

We enjoyed our stay the host was very friendly and helpful the town has amazing food. We wanted to fish but couldn’t find any spots so that was a bummer. We also didn’t realize that it wasn’t very private. We expected neighbors but didn’t expect that we would be staying above the host’s garage or that we’d be using their personal hut tub kinda took away any intimate moments while we were outside of our loft. If theses things were listed I probably would have went with a different property.

We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the loft and decoration of the loft. It was well supplied with linens, kitchen utensils, and snacks. We appreciated how close it was to Point Campbell Marina. The view was gorgeous!

The couple that own the property are really nice people and they keep a very well kept rental. The cabin is bug free, kitchen has your all your utensils needed, the property is situated in shell knob and is quietly tucked away by itself with a view of the bridge that that crosses the lake. The view looks like a mini bay near the ocean. Give this a chance! It's affordable, clean, in one of the best areas around table rock, but removed from the touristy areas leaving you with fair prices at stores and boat rentals are a quarter of the cost that they would be in Branson. Plus this is only 14 miles from silver Dollar City and roughly 50 minutes from Branson. We will be back! My wife and I loved it!
