This property was set up better than described! Games, books and puzzles are stocked for those quiet evenings in the room. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The decor was so pretty and cozy!

We were at Carillon Beach for a family wedding. The property was clean and inviting. When we had a couple of small problems, the property manager was easy to reach and took care of the problems immediately. I liked being in the center of the market area close to the shops, yet the location was not noisy. The two bedrooms on the upper floor were comfortable. Although the ensuite bathroom in the primary bedroom was small it had a large shower and the 2nd bathroom was a good size with plenty of storage room. The downstairs living area was very comfortable and full of light. We would be very happy to stay here again.

We had a lovely time, but immediately when we got there we realized the upstairs was extremely hot. There was only one a/c unit and we set the temp to 70 but it did not cool the upstairs at all. There was one very small fan and 4 space heaters. We ended up having to buy a box fan to help cool us off while sleeping. The room with the bunk beds was the worst. We didn't sleep well because it was so hot. I sent a text telling the folks it was very hot and was asked to send a pic of the thermostat which I did and then silence. Nothing was offered in a way to help. You need to at least invest in a portable ac to put up there in the hot months. The only other thing was the layout of the grounds was not helpful. We had to walk or ride around just to find pools and walkways to the beach. And by the way none of the walkways are friendly in that the only ramp for pulling wagons with babies is at the beach club pool. Everything else you have to climb a million steps. Will look at other options for our next stay.
