About this house rental
Typical house in a small hamlet on Mount Picota 4.5 km from the market town of Monchique, sea view of the panoramic Algarve of 80km from Faro to Lagos, 25 km from the south coast and 45 km from the west coast.
Terraced property, planted with lemon, orange, strawberry, olive and fig trees.
House completely renovated, with traditional materials and decorated with furniture and antique objects.
The house is perfect for spending time with family or friends, in winter in our living room in front of our fireplace or in summer in the shade on our terrace under our 2 centuries-old fig tree.
Consisting of 2 adjoining parts:
-the first part with a bedroom, bathroom and small living room on the first floor and a mezzanine upstairs.
-and a second part with a kitchen, a main living room, a toilet, a bedroom with bathroom on the first floor and a mezzanine upstairs.
How to combine rest, relaxation and discovery of the Algarve:
Picking oranges from the garden in the morning, barbecue at lunchtime, a short walk at the beach and a midnight swim in the swimming pool under the stars.
Sports trip: works, motorbike, bike, boat trip, surf or parachute.
Heritage visits to villages, churches or museums.
Walks on the many beaches and islands of the Algarve
and for gourmets, little nuggets to eat in our town or on the coast.
A little informative message, so that you are not surprised, the surroundings of the swimming pool are being finished...

We absolutely loved everything about our stay. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views, fruit trees in the garden, and a beautiful pool. The house is full of charm, and we felt like we could have spent an entire week there without ever needing to leave. We truly enjoyed every moment and would love to come back if we get the chance. The hosts were extraordinary, and communication was A.

We've stayed for a week but could have stayed forever! The house is very comfortable and stylish, well equipped kitchen, excellent beds and a fun layout. The garden with the view and pool are absolutely stunning. The table under the beautiful old fig tree was our favorite spot to enjoy the view in the shade and drink the lemonade we made from the lemons we collected in the garden.The house is pitched high on a hill so it gets cool at night. The windows are mosquito fenced so no need to use the air-conditioning (which does work very well).I'm sure there are many things to do in the area but for us the house was all we needed.
