New Lux Abinger Pl

I was visiting New York for the weekend with family when I found this place. This was by far my best stay ever for multiple reasons. The accuracy of this listing was so on point, the cleanliness was amazing, the communication with the host was super easy, helpful and fast, the neighborhood was safe and the parking was awesome as we got to park on the driveway and even had the choice to park inside the garage and the checking was so simple. Thanks for having us, will definitely come back again and will for sure recommend this place to everyone.

The apartment is very clean and well taken care of! Damilola put a lot of thought and detail into comfort of the home. The apartment matched the description and pictures. There were many amenities provided. The apartment is also very secured and provides a driveway which is perfect! This place is perfect for a trip to NYC. It was about 30 minutes to Port Imperial NJ. Damilola was very kind and quick responding!

Overall, the interior of the property is very nice, as is the owner. There were a few things that were unexpected (and I think could be more transparent in the listing). First, this property is in a rough and unsafe neighborhood; there was active drug use (and maybe deals) directly in front of the property multiple times. Although the driveway was available, we were disappointed to not have access to the garage in such a rough area. Second, although advertised as “sleeps 8”, the space truly only sleeps 6 (1 queen bed in each of the 3 bedrooms). When asked about the additional accommodations, I was told that there was an air mattress in one of the closets, yet there was no mention of that in the listing. Lastly, the towel bar in the Master bathroom was not functional and there was no window covering. Although very nice and responsive, the communication with the owner was solely in response to my initiating contact. I had to ask for entry and parking information and I had to ask for additional towels and clarify sleeping accommodations although I was clear during my booking that we were a party of 6. Nice space, but I would not recommend for families with young children due to the area.
