'De Zwaluw' is situated in a very quiet location at the end of a dead-end path. It is just a short 10-minute walk from the village of Westenschouwen, where you will find a seasonal supermarket and various dining options. The beach is less than a 15-minute walk away.
This holiday cottage, built in typical Zeeland style, was expanded in 2023 with a delightful garden room on the ground floor. A beautiful extension of the house that you will certainly enjoy. Start your day here with a delicious breakfast at the dining table in this room or settle yourself in the evenings on the comfortable sofa with a good book. On warm summer days, you can open the French doors and experience outdoor living to the fullest from this cozy space.
The living room has a romantic decor with some antique furniture and bookshelves filled with Zeelandic books. The open kitchen is fully equipped.
The sleeping area with a double bed is located on the loft, which you reach via the staircase in the living room. Please note, this is a steep staircase!
Of course, there is also a nice and modern bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet.
The cottage is optimally insulated, has central heating, underfloor heating, and a charming gas fireplace.
Holiday home Scalde Oort 36 is completely private on a spacious plot of more than 300 m2, facing south/southwest and surrounded by tall hedges. The garden is fully fenced. Very convenient if you bring your four-legged friend. A maximum of two small dogs are welcome.
There is a private parking space available for one car.
There is no dishwasher or washing machine in this property.
