About this house rental
Large house for 8 people in a hamlet in the Bugey region: the charm of the old world with exposed beams, a Scandinavian wood-burning stove, and stone walls. New: 3-star holiday rental. With its spacious living area, it's ideal for family or friends gatherings, sports teams, or business trips. On sunny days, the large veranda offers a perfect spot for family meals with breathtaking views of the sunset reflected on the cliffs. For your convenience, in addition to the three bedrooms – two double beds, two single beds, and cots – two single beds have been added on the mezzanine. Beds are made up, towels and tea towels are included, and cleaning is included. You will have a shower room and a bathroom with a bathtub. The reversible heat pump is new. Games, toys, and an electric piano are available. A closed garage is available for bicycles, your car, or motorcycles. A few bicycles are also available. A picturesque 60-meter waterfall is the pride of the hamlet of Glandieu. Hiking trails start right here. Just 10 minutes from the ViaRhôna cycle path, accessible via a direct route. There's also a paragliding launch site in the hills above our hamlet. You're less than a 15-minute drive from Walibi theme park. The house is located on the Bugey tourist route. From here, you can explore its vineyards – Roussette, Mondeuse, and more – and the typical villages of the Dauphiné region. You'll likely visit the Grand Colombier mountain, famous for its Tour de France stage. Situated at the crossroads of three departments, the Gîte de la Cascade is the perfect base for discovering the region's many lakes: Romagneu, Paladru, Ambléon, Aiguebelette, Vallée Bleue, Le Bourget, and others. In good weather, we'll point you to the numerous swimming and watersports spots. We highly recommend a visit to the historical and reflective site of Izieu, less than 10 minutes from the house. Family home, in the heart of Bugey, a stone's throw from the Glandieu waterfall.
