White water cabin was the perfect stay for our friend group. We are a group of 4 families age range 50 to 8 years old. There’s 4 king size beds downstairs each room has their own toilet and share a shower with the connecting bedroom. A big game room up stairs with 3 queen beds and 3 twins size beds over them and its own bathroom with toilet and bathtub/shower. The cabin had everything you need to use to cook with. The cabin had the perfect view of the water. Would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone that is looking for the perfect place to stay at on the caddo river. And I give 10 plus stars to the host Byron, he answered all of my questions and made sure we had everything we needed.

Great communication with owner and manager. Beautiful even in the bitter cold on the river. They allow small group gatherings and it was perfect for my father’s Celebration of Life. Was able to have our family over for dinner and a gathering for out of town guest. Thank you.

The house was perfect for our Thanksgiving trip with our family. We had 8 adults and the rest were kids/teens. The sleeping/bedroom arrangements of this house worked out perfectly. The house was very clean and had ample amount of supplies/towels for our guests of 15 to use.
The view was amazing to add in with the perfect weather we had while there. We plan to be back during warmer months to actually go into the river and enjoy that a little more!

The home is in a fun location right on the Caddo River and provide lots of indoor and outdoor spaces for a large group to spread out. This new home has so much potential, but so many things were done either cheaply or are not getting the attention needed, that we were quickly dissapointed that we did not choose one of the other homes in the area.
The owner communicated an issue with the cleaning staff before we arrived. We were fine with waiting until the property was ready for us, but when we arrived the home was not thorougly cleaned. Dirty counters, food in the sink, unmade beds, dirty floors, dirty dishes and flatware that had been put away. Thankfully the bathrooms were spotlessly cleaned, otherwise we would not have been able to tolerate the property.
We chose this property over the others because we loved the look of the outdoor seating. The neat hanging chairs from the property images were both broken. The wooden swings were not hung correctly, so they were no fun to use. Everything outside was filthy and not super comfortable.
The bedrooms were sparse with just a platform bed and bench. No where to put clothes and only one hanger per person in the house for hanging something up. Not a big fan of having to live out of my suitcase, open on the floor, for an entire week. We definitely brought home the big ants that were in the house!
One of the biggest annoyances in the house is a lack of hooks and places to hang things. It would be such a minor expense to add hooks on the back of doors and stock hangers in the closets, and would make life so much easier for visitors.
Overall, this property seems cheaply put together and is poorly maintained. We did notice that this home is currently for sale, so maybe that has something to do with the issues we had. We enjoyed our time in the area, but would definitely choose a different property for our next stay.
