Welcome to Camp Hammond! A Lakefront Cabin in the Woods.
Forget your worries in this spacious and serene cabin. Nature abounds on this property with mesmerizing lakefront views from every room; two-story/vaulted living room; gas stone fireplace; bright & cheerful with ample natural light flowing in; large kitchen & breakfast bar; lakefront dining area; huge lakefront deck…perfect for relaxing and/or entertaining.
The space
You will have lots of options and flexibility in this space. Guests can walk around the property and enjoy the trees, nature, and the lake. Or guests can enjoy the many cozy spots to enjoy a fire, work on a puzzle, play games, or feast on a good meal with family and friends. Camp Hammond is situated between Crosby and Brainerd with both summer and winter activities galore. Visit Cuyuna Mountain Bike Trails, snowmobile on 120 miles of Paul Bunyan Trail, or bring/rent an ice fishing house right out your back door on beautiful Clearwater Lake! Watch the snow fall from the picture windows in this magical winter wonderland.
Guest access
Guests will have full use of the house and one garage space. There is a second detached garage on the property which is off limits and not for guest access.

Enjoy outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, snowmobiling or roller blading on 120 miles of Paul Bunyan paved trail. Cuyuna Mountain Bike trails offer 60 miles of paved trails for biking, hiking, skiing or snow shoeing.

We spent 3 nights at this lovely lake home on Clearwater Lake. We had a great view of the lake from the deck and most of the rooms inside. My husband and I hosted my sister and her husband, their son and his wife and their two kids, a boy 8 and a girl 5. The canoe and paddle boards were great fun for the younger people and we oldsters enjoyed the floating lounge chairs. There were loons and bald eagles and we had campfires in the very private yard. The kitchen was very well stocked, and everything was clearly labeled. We would be very happy to stay here again. The host was also very responsive to any questions we had.
